A few hours back, we told you how Janhvi Kapoor
broke down at the screening of Dhadak, last night, when her brother, Arjun and
dad, Boney Kapoor hugged her warmly after watching the film. SpotboyE.com has
it that this was not the only emotional moment for the Kapoor family.
We all know how important Sridevi’s role was in grooming
Janhvi Kapoor to the person she is today. If she was alive, it would have been
the proudest moment for the late actress to see her daughter on the silver
screen. Janhvi felt this emotion to her bones and that’s why the actress
carried her mother’s picture with her to the screening, last night.
Surely Janhvi didn’t want to live one of the most
important moments of her life without the blessings of her late mother.

Talking about the
screening, which took place at YRF studios, we saw Madhuri Dixit, Sara Ali
Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, Kartik Aryan, Rekha, director
Shashank Khaitan with wife, Kunal Kemmu, Soha Ali Khan, newlyweds Neha
Dhupia-Angad Bedi, Sonakshi Sinha, TV celebs Arjun Bijlani and Tushar Kalia
among others in attendance.
While the trailer
and songs have got positive response, Dhadak is still a litmus test for
Janhvi and the young actress has surely put in all her efforts to meet people’s
expectations. The film, also starring Ishaan Khatter and directed by Shashank
Khaitan, hits theatres tomorrow (July 20).
